Agent Spotlight: Sandy Spencer
Sandy grew up around home construction. Her parents built the house she grew up
in and her dad was a roofer, which made contracting and construction a normal part
of her life. In the mid 90s, her dad bought his own commercial roofing company,
so through highschool and college she worked there in billing, collections, and
project administration. She admits that collections isn’t most people’s favorite side
of business, but she truly enjoyed working with clients (sometimes creatively), to
get their accounts current. And that is similar to something she loves about
working in real estate: helping people see the possibilities. No two transactions are
the same, and no two families are exactly alike but everyone wants to find a place
to call home. And if you’re not finding that perfect spot because the houses you’re
looking at are too old or outdated, Sandy will help you think outside the box. She
and her husband have extensively renovated their own house and she has a good
eye for a home’s potential. In her own words, “A house never runs out of
possibilities to be a home for someone new”.
When you’re ready to start searching for a home, Sandy recommends that you start
by meeting with a reputable lender. A good lender will help you find out what’s
possible. Setting realistic expectations makes the process of finding your home so
much easier. After that, a good agent will help you navigate the path to the biggest
investment you will ever make: buying a home. Sandy firmly believes that
investing in real estate is a great way to build wealth. So when you’re ready to start
