Last Minute Valentine’s Card

As we are heading into Valentines day here is a simple trick that will step up your Valentine Card
game! These 3D hearts are an easy DIY to make a creative card for loved ones. The best part
is most of the supplies can be found in your home! Printable Instructions

Supplies:
Pencil
Scissors
Cardboard
Cardstock (but paper works too!)
Glue Stick
Card (Store bought or homemade)

First, draw a symmetrical heart on a piece of Cardboard and cut it out.
Next, take out some cardstock or any thick paper. The cardstock can be the same or different colors, whatever combo looks best to you! You can use printed paper too.
Now, place the cardboard heart on top of the cardstock and trace and cut out 5 paper hearts.
Fold each heart in half and glue one half to the half of another heart. Repeat this until you run
out of hearts. They will form a little semi circle. Make sure not to glue the last two hearts
together.
Lastly, take the two open heart halves, put glue on them and paste to the front of the card. You
can either use a piece of paper folded in half or a plain store bought card.

Now you have a couple options! You could leave the hearts as they are or draw a little basket
underneath to make a little hot air balloon. Or draw string under the hearts to make Valentine's
themed kites.

These are such a cute and easy way to make a card for loved ones and is an easy craft to do
with littles. Happy Valentine's Day!
